Jacob Ballinger is an English Composer for Television, Film and Video Games based in the Midlands, UK. By crafting unique and memorable soundscapes and melodies, his compositions are designed to enhance the narrative and atmosphere of each individual project.

Jacob holds a degree in Film Music (BA) from Leeds Conservatoire as well as a Master's degree in Music for the Moving Image from Leeds Beckett University. During this time he was able to further develop his craft and is now a registered production music composer for libraries such as Audiio.

Starting out as a classically trained guitarist and pianist, Jacob demonstrates a strong knowledge of orchestral music composition which is heavily inspired by the likes of composers such as John Williams, Michael Giacchino, Michael Salvatori and Martin O'Donnell. Jacob also ensures that his compositions remain fresh and versatile through exploring new and creative approaches to music composition across any genre.
